So here we are, approaching Christmas 2018 when many of our thoughts turn to buying gifts for the festive period.
Sometimes it’s easy … you may have been listening to hints for some months now, or the best is getting to read kids letters to Santa, those are the simple days when you just find what people want, buy and wrap … job done!
But it’s not always such a simple thing.
- some people like surprises
- some people just have everything already … you need something original
- sometimes you have a budget …
- sometimes time is short … work can be busy
- sometimes you just have no inspiration … your mind is elsewhere
- too many parties to attend (including the kids!)
Being a shopping kind of girl, I receive masses of catalogues from mail order companies, and these are good for gift ideas and I love Christmas gift guides, but of course they are limited to one store or another, and I can’t usually find everything I want in one store!
Of course, I go online to buy, and I do have a pretty eclectic love for and process of shopping, usually driven by inspiration, impulse and choosing gifts specially for someone which I hope they will love.
However, when having a rational moment to complete my ‘present list’ it means re-visiting every store, so I do like to compile this list.
Now I have my shopping group, I decided to create my Sassy Christmas Guide!
So instead of picking out a few gifts, I have created a kind of Shopping Mall Guide for you. I have chosen a wide range of stores, and ideas which I hope will cover all those friends and family members you are shopping for.
